Cancellation & Refund Policy — Study Buddy ShareLine

Welcome to Study Buddy ShareLine (SBS). We create audio-first learning with supporting notes, MCQs, and revision challenges. Because most of our products are instant digital access, our refund rules are slightly different from physical goods. Please read this page carefully before purchasing.
1) Quick Summary (TL;DR)
- Digital content once accessed = Non-refundable.
If you have listened to any audio (“heard content”) or opened/downloaded any notes, PDFs, question banks, or lessons (“read content”), no refund is possible for that order. - Change of mind after purchase is not a valid reason for refund.
- Eligible refunds are limited to: duplicate payments, payment failures with deduction, technical access issues we cannot resolve within a reasonable time, or accidental multi-purchase of the same item.
- Cohort / Challenge programs: Refunds allowed only before the program start date and before any course material is released.
- Please review course intros & previews carefully to understand the scope before buying.

2) Products Covered
- Micro-Products: e.g., ₹49 “100 Most Expected Biology MCQs,” short notes, mini PDFs, checklists.
- Audio Courses: e.g., ₹199 subject/topic-wise audio lessons with notes/quizzes.
- Premium Bundles: Combined packs of audio + notes + tests.
- Cohort Programs / Revision Challenges: e.g., “30-Day NEET Revision Challenge.”
- Subscriptions / Memberships: Access to a library or periodic drops.
- Workshops / Webinars: Live or recorded with downloadable resources.
3) No-Refund Scenarios (Digital Accessed Content)
For any order where at least one of the following has happened, no refund will be issued:
- Audio played/streamed (full or partial).
- PDF/Notes/Question bank viewed, opened, or downloaded.
- Quiz/Test attempted (even a single question).
- Course dashboard accessed where lesson content is visible.
- Any file delivered via email/app/drive link has been opened or saved.
Rationale: Digital goods can be copied/consumed instantly; we cannot “take them back.”
4) Eligible Refunds (Exceptions)
We will approve refunds only in these cases:
- Duplicate Payment: You were charged twice for the same product.
- Payment Deducted but Access Not Granted: If we cannot provide access within 72 hours of your support ticket and you wish to cancel.
- Accidental Multi-Purchase of the Same SKU: Bought the exact same item multiple times in the same account—refund for the extras only, provided they’re not accessed.
- Cancelled Cohort Before Start: For live cohorts/challenges, if you request cancellation at least 24 hours before the official start time and before any material release.
- Pro-rated Subscription Refunds (Rare): If you purchased a multi-month subscription and never accessed any content in the current cycle, we may issue a pro-rated refund at our discretion, minus payment gateway fees.
Note: All refunds (when approved) are issued to the original payment method less any gateway charges/taxes that are non-recoverable.
5) “Understand Before You Buy” — How We Help
To ensure you buy confidently, we provide:
- Course Intro/Overview pages describing scope, format, and outcomes.
- Sample Audio Clip (when available).
- Sample Pages/Contents for notes or MCQs (when available).
- Syllabus Coverage and Who it’s for / not for sections.

6) Special Notes for Bundles & Challenges
- Bundles: If any one component is accessed (audio played / PDF opened), the entire bundle becomes non-refundable.
- 30-Day / Cohort Programs: Once the program starts or material is released or first session is attended/recording accessed, no refund.
7) How to Request a Refund (If Eligible)
Step 1 — Submit a ticket within 7 days of purchase with:
- Order ID, purchase date/time
- Registered email/phone
- Reason for refund + screenshots (payment issue, duplicate charge, access error)
- Confirmation that you have not accessed any digital content (we verify server logs)
Step 2 — Review & Response
- We aim to respond within 2 business days. Complex cases may require more time for payment-gateway checks.
Step 3 — Payout Timeline
- Once approved, please allow 5–10 business days for the amount to reflect, depending on your bank/gateway.
8) Non-Transferable & No Cash Alternatives
- We do not convert purchases into wallet credit or other courses.
- We do not transfer access between accounts (except minor corrections like typo in email).
9) Misuse, Abuse & Fair Use
We reserve the right to deny refunds and/or suspend accounts in cases of abuse, such as repeated refund requests after consumption, file-sharing/piracy, or chargebacks without contacting support.
10) Legal & Jurisdiction
- All purchases are subject to Indian laws.
- Prices may include GST where applicable.
- Any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of [Your City], India (update with your registered city).

12) Friendly FAQ
Q1. I bought by mistake. Can I get a refund?
If you haven’t accessed any content yet and the case fits our exceptions (e.g., duplicate charge), raise a ticket quickly. Otherwise, no.
Q2. I listened for 2–3 minutes only.
Any playback = accessed, so no refund.
Q3. My internet was slow / device issue.
We’ll try to help (alternate links/offline PDFs). If access remains impossible and no content was consumed, we may consider a refund at our discretion.
Q4. Can I switch to another course instead of refund?
Generally no after access. Before access, we can help you choose better.
