Can­cel­la­tion & Refund Pol­i­cy — Study Bud­dy Share­Line

Wel­come to Study Bud­dy Share­Line (SBS). We cre­ate audio-first learn­ing with sup­port­ing notes, MCQs, and revi­sion chal­lenges. Because most of our prod­ucts are instant dig­i­tal access, our refund rules are slight­ly dif­fer­ent from phys­i­cal goods. Please read this page care­ful­ly before pur­chas­ing.

1) Quick Sum­ma­ry (TL;DR)

  • Dig­i­tal con­tent once accessed = Non-refund­able.
    If you have lis­tened to any audio (“heard con­tent”) or opened/downloaded any notes, PDFs, ques­tion banks, or lessons (“read con­tent”), no refund is pos­si­ble for that order.
  • Change of mind after pur­chase is not a valid rea­son for refund.
  • Eli­gi­ble refunds are lim­it­ed to: dupli­cate pay­ments, pay­ment fail­ures with deduc­tion, tech­ni­cal access issues we can­not resolve with­in a rea­son­able time, or acci­den­tal mul­ti-pur­chase of the same item.
  • Cohort / Chal­lenge pro­grams: Refunds allowed only before the pro­gram start date and before any course mate­r­i­al is released.
  • Please review course intros & pre­views care­ful­ly to under­stand the scope before buy­ing.

2) Prod­ucts Cov­ered

  • Micro-Prod­ucts: e.g., ₹49 “100 Most Expect­ed Biol­o­gy MCQs,” short notes, mini PDFs, check­lists.
  • Audio Cours­es: e.g., ₹199 sub­jec­t/­topic-wise audio lessons with notes/quizzes.
  • Pre­mi­um Bun­dles: Com­bined packs of audio + notes + tests.
  • Cohort Pro­grams / Revi­sion Chal­lenges: e.g., “30-Day NEET Revi­sion Chal­lenge.”
  • Sub­scrip­tions / Mem­ber­ships: Access to a library or peri­od­ic drops.
  • Work­shops / Webi­na­rs: Live or record­ed with down­load­able resources.

3) No-Refund Sce­nar­ios (Dig­i­tal Accessed Con­tent)

For any order where at least one of the fol­low­ing has hap­pened, no refund will be issued:

  1. Audio played/streamed (full or par­tial).
  2. PDF/Notes/Question bank viewed, opened, or down­loaded.
  3. Quiz/Test attempt­ed (even a sin­gle ques­tion).
  4. Course dash­board accessed where les­son con­tent is vis­i­ble.
  5. Any file deliv­ered via email/app/drive link has been opened or saved.

Ratio­nale: Dig­i­tal goods can be copied/consumed instant­ly; we can­not “take them back.”

4) Eli­gi­ble Refunds (Excep­tions)

We will approve refunds only in these cas­es:

  1. Dupli­cate Pay­ment: You were charged twice for the same prod­uct.
  2. Pay­ment Deduct­ed but Access Not Grant­ed: If we can­not pro­vide access with­in 72 hours of your sup­port tick­et and you wish to can­cel.
  3. Acci­den­tal Mul­ti-Pur­chase of the Same SKU: Bought the exact same item mul­ti­ple times in the same account—refund for the extras only, pro­vid­ed they’re not accessed.
  4. Can­celled Cohort Before Start: For live cohorts/challenges, if you request can­cel­la­tion at least 24 hours before the offi­cial start time and before any mate­r­i­al release.
  5. Pro-rat­ed Sub­scrip­tion Refunds (Rare): If you pur­chased a mul­ti-month sub­scrip­tion and nev­er accessed any con­tent in the cur­rent cycle, we may issue a pro-rat­ed refund at our dis­cre­tion, minus pay­ment gate­way fees.

Note: All refunds (when approved) are issued to the orig­i­nal pay­ment method less any gate­way charges/taxes that are non-recov­er­able.

5) “Under­stand Before You Buy” — How We Help

To ensure you buy con­fi­dent­ly, we pro­vide:

  • Course Intro/Overview pages describ­ing scope, for­mat, and out­comes.
  • Sam­ple Audio Clip (when avail­able).
  • Sam­ple Pages/Contents for notes or MCQs (when avail­able).
  • Syl­labus Cov­er­age and Who it’s for / not for sec­tions.

6) Spe­cial Notes for Bun­dles & Chal­lenges

  • Bun­dles: If any one com­po­nent is accessed (audio played / PDF opened), the entire bun­dle becomes non-refund­able.
  • 30-Day / Cohort Pro­grams: Once the pro­gram starts or mate­r­i­al is released or first ses­sion is attended/recording accessed, no refund.

7) How to Request a Refund (If Eli­gi­ble)

Step 1 — Sub­mit a tick­et with­in 7 days of pur­chase with:

  • Order ID, pur­chase date/time
  • Reg­is­tered email/phone
  • Rea­son for refund + screen­shots (pay­ment issue, dupli­cate charge, access error)
  • Con­fir­ma­tion that you have not accessed any dig­i­tal con­tent (we ver­i­fy serv­er logs)

Step 2 — Review & Response

  • We aim to respond with­in 2 busi­ness days. Com­plex cas­es may require more time for pay­ment-gate­way checks.

Step 3 — Pay­out Time­line

  • Once approved, please allow 5–10 busi­ness days for the amount to reflect, depend­ing on your bank/gateway.

8) Non-Trans­fer­able & No Cash Alter­na­tives

  • We do not con­vert pur­chas­es into wal­let cred­it or oth­er cours­es.
  • We do not trans­fer access between accounts (except minor cor­rec­tions like typo in email).

9) Mis­use, Abuse & Fair Use

We reserve the right to deny refunds and/or sus­pend accounts in cas­es of abuse, such as repeat­ed refund requests after con­sump­tion, file-shar­ing/pira­cy, or charge­backs with­out con­tact­ing sup­port.

10) Legal & Juris­dic­tion

  • All pur­chas­es are sub­ject to Indi­an laws.
  • Prices may include GST where applic­a­ble.
  • Any dis­putes fall under the juris­dic­tion of [Your City], India (update with your reg­is­tered city).

12) Friend­ly FAQ

Q1. I bought by mis­take. Can I get a refund?

If you haven’t accessed any con­tent yet and the case fits our excep­tions (e.g., dupli­cate charge), raise a tick­et quick­ly. Oth­er­wise, no.

Q2. I lis­tened for 2–3 min­utes only.

Any play­back = accessed, so no refund.

Q3. My inter­net was slow / device issue.

We’ll try to help (alter­nate links/offline PDFs). If access remains impos­si­ble and no con­tent was con­sumed, we may con­sid­er a refund at our dis­cre­tion.

Q4. Can I switch to anoth­er course instead of refund?

Gen­er­al­ly no after access. Before access, we can help you choose bet­ter.

  • Put a short badge/notice near the Buy but­ton:
